bULBES is a garage-jazz trio formed in Liège (B) in 2008 by Sam Andrianne (bass), Vincent Durieu (drums) and Etienne Wathieu (guitar). The band developed an original repertoire characterised by the raw sounds of jazz and post-rock influences.

Direct and without any contrivance, bULBES' musical approach has earned them the label "garage-jazz", referring to the garage-rock bands rehearsing and recording in the rudimentary space of a garage.

In 2013, the trio recorded an eponymous EP including 4 tracks recorded by Maxime Wathieu at X.Y.Zèbres studio in Huy, B.

bULBES est un trio de garage-jazz créé à Liège en 2008. Constitué de Sam Andrianne (basse), Vincent Durieu (batterie) et de Etienne Wathieu (guitare), le groupe développe sur scène un répertoire original exploitant les sonorités brutes de leurs influences jazz et post-rock.

Directe et sans artifice, l'approche musicale de bULBES leur a valu l'étiquette "garage-jazz", en référence aux groupes de rock-garage répétant et enregistrant dans l'espace rudimentaire d'un garage.

En 2013, le trio enregistre un EP éponyme comprenant 4 titres enregistré par Maxime Wathieu au studio X.Y.Zèbres à Huy.
